DANZA DAVIS grew up in the oak woodlands and pine forests of Northern California. She dual-majored in studio art and botany at Humboldt State University and has a Graduate Certificate in Science Illustration from California State University Monterey Bay. Danza works out of her Northern California home, where she has a personal practice and is an illustrator for Ink Dwell studio.
